Moody Matters

Live in a way
Confession:
I’m moodier than I’d like to admit. Far more often than not, I let my emotions get the best of me. The positive and the negative ones. It’s my nature. However, my second nature is to regulate them. Psychologists call this “self-regulation.”
So sometimes I need a reminder to keep things in the proper perspective. That’s why I  surround my work area with aphorisms and maxims reminding me to be more patient and temperate and to do the stuff that doesn’t come naturally.
Here are a few of my favorites.
“Little by little one walks far.” Chinese Proverb
“What you do everyday, matters more than what you do once in a while.”
“Being a professional is doing the things you love to do — even on the days you don’t feel like doing it.” Julius Erving
